The latest annualized rate is 2.14%.
The February 2010 Consumer Price Index for Urban Consumers ((CPI-U)) is 216.741. The annualized inflation rate computed from this number is 2.14%, which marks the fourth month of mild inflation after a streak of 8 consecutive months of deflation. The annualized inflation rate of the last four months, however, is well below the 4.1% average since the end of World War II.
